Grass reinforcement mesh 2m x 20m (Medium 13mm grade) is designed for occasional vehicle use and heavier pedestrian traffic on established grassed areas. Manufactured from UV-stabilised green HDPE, this grass reinforcement mesh reinforces natural turf while allowing grass to grow through and integrate with the mesh structure.
The wider 2 metre format combined with the extended 20 metre roll length makes it well suited to larger parking areas, long access routes and open grass surfaces, reducing joins while creating a strengthened, permeable and slip-resistant grass surface for intermittent vehicle loading.
Medium 13mm mesh is suitable for occasional vehicle use. For regular year-round parking or consistently trafficked access routes, our Heavy Duty 14.5mm grade is recommended.
How It Works
This 2m x 20m grass reinforcement mesh is laid directly onto established grass. As the turf grows, the roots intertwine with the open mesh structure, reinforcing the surface and distributing loads across a wider area.
The permeable design maintains airflow and water penetration to the root zone, helping reduce surface damage and soil compaction when used within its intended parameters.
It may also be installed onto newly seeded areas, although traffic should only be introduced once the grass has fully established during the growing season.
Installation
The mesh must be securely pinned to the ground using steel fixing pins. We recommend approximately 150 steel pins per 2m x 20m roll.
