Is there surface prep or base required?Clear debris and ensure the area is level. Our rubber grass mats can be laid directly onto turf or soil without major sub-base construction, making them ideal for gateways and paddock entry zones.
What are the benefits of paddock matting?Paddock matting protects the ground from churn, keeps gateways and high-use zones clean and mud-free, enables drainage, while offering a stable surface for animals and vehicles.
How do I install gateway matting?Position the mats across the gateway or paddock access area in the desired formation, peg the mats down securely, ensuring they lie flat to the ground.
How durable are the mats?Our mats are heavy duty rubber, designed for animal traffic in gateway and paddock environments, able to cope with hooves, wheels and weathering.
What maintenance is required?Simply remove surface debris, and the check pegs periodically.
Do the mats have any limitations?The mats may not perform as well on softer ground; we'd recommend using underlay mesh in combination with the mats in the case of softer/muddier ground.
