Grass reinforcement mesh 2m x 20m heavy (14.5mm grade) is designed for regular vehicle use and heavy pedestrian traffic on established grassed areas. Manufactured in the UK from UV-stabilised HDPE, it reinforces natural turf while allowing grass to grow through and integrate with the mesh structure.

The wider 2 metre format and extended 20 metre length make it suitable for larger parking areas, access routes and open spaces, creating a durable, permeable and slip-resistant surface suitable for year-round use within its intended load parameters.

How It Works

The mesh is laid directly onto established grass. As the turf grows, the roots intertwine with the open mesh structure, reinforcing the surface and distributing vehicle and foot traffic loads across a wider area.

The permeable design maintains airflow and water penetration to the root zone, helping reduce surface wear and soil compaction when used within its design limits.

The mesh may also be installed onto newly seeded areas, although traffic should only be introduced once the grass has fully established during the growing season.

Installation

The mesh must be securely pinned to the ground using steel fixing pins. We recommend approximately 150 steel pins per 2m x 20m roll.
