Grass reinforcement mesh 1m x 10m heavy (14.5mm grade) is designed for regular vehicle use and heavy pedestrian traffic on established grassed areas. Manufactured from UV-stabilised green HDPE, it reinforces natural turf while allowing grass to grow through and integrate with the mesh structure.
This creates a durable, permeable and slip-resistant surface suitable for year-round use within its intended load parameters.
Heavy Duty 14.5mm mesh is suitable for regular vehicle use on appropriate ground conditions. For heavily trafficked commercial car parks or continuously loaded access roads, ground preparation and sub-base suitability should be assessed prior to installation.
How It Works
The mesh is laid directly onto established grass. As the turf grows, the roots intertwine with the open mesh structure, reinforcing the surface and distributing vehicle and foot traffic loads across a wider area.
The permeable design maintains airflow and water penetration to the root zone, helping reduce surface wear and soil compaction when used within its design limits.
The mesh may also be installed onto newly seeded areas, although traffic should only be introduced once the grass has fully established during the growing season.
Installation
The mesh must be securely pinned to the ground using steel fixing pins. We recommend approximately 50 steel pins per 1m x 10m roll.

Product is exactly as described. It arrived quickly and was easier to lay and cut to size than anticipated. The U pins are good quality and strong.
