Workshop & Warehouse Flooring

Our workshop and warehouse flooring range is designed to improve comfort, grip and floor protection in commercial and practical work areas. Interlocking warehouse flooring and industrial rubber tiles provide durable modular coverage, while anti-fatigue mats, entrance mats and anti-slip rolls can support individual workstations, entrances and pedestrian routes. Product selection should reflect the expected foot traffic, equipment, wheel loads, cleaning regime and environment. Suitability for forklifts, chemicals, welding, high temperatures or unusually heavy machinery must be confirmed before installation.

Choosing the Right Workshop or Warehouse Flooring

Solution #1: Interlocking Rubber Tiles

Interlocking rubber tiles are suited to larger floor areas where a durable, modular surface is required. They can improve grip, protect the underlying floor and make damaged sections easier to replace individually. Confirm suitability for trolley wheels, pallet trucks, forklifts or concentrated machinery loads before installation.

Solution #2: Anti-Fatigue Mats

Anti-fatigue mats are designed for individual workstations where staff stand for long periods. Their cushioned, open or solid rubber construction can improve comfort and grip around benches, packing stations and service areas. Choose the format according to liquids, debris, cleaning and trip-risk requirements.

Solution #3: Anti-Slip Rolls and Entrance Mats

Anti-slip rolls and entrance mats provide targeted coverage for walkways, entrances and areas where additional grip or dirt control is needed. Rolls can be cut to suit suitable routes, while entrance mats help reduce dirt and moisture transfer. Secure edges and avoid creating raised trip points.

Workshop & Warehouse Flooring FAQs

Which flooring is best for a workshop or warehouse? The best option depends on the area and how it will be used. Interlocking tiles suit broader floor coverage, anti-fatigue mats suit standing workstations, and anti-slip rolls or entrance mats suit targeted routes and doorways. Confirm expected loads, cleaning and environmental conditions before ordering.

Can rubber flooring be used with forklifts or pallet trucks? Not every rubber flooring product is suitable for forklifts, pallet trucks or concentrated wheel loads. Turning, braking and heavy point loads can deform or damage unsuitable matting. Please confirm the vehicle, wheel and loading details with our technical team before ordering.

Is rubber flooring suitable around oils or chemicals?Resistance varies by product and chemical. Provide the substance, concentration and likely contact time so suitability can be checked. Test a small area where appropriate, and do not use near welding, sparks or high temperatures unless the product has been specifically confirmed for that environment.

How should the existing floor be prepared? The substrate should normally be clean, dry, reasonably level and structurally sound. Repair significant damage, remove loose material and contamination, and address moisture problems before installation. Follow the instructions for the selected product.

How long does delivery take?We stock these products in Congleton, Cheshire. Standard and premium delivery options are available, subject to stock, order size and destination. Collection can also be selected at checkout.
