The Story of Concrete Sports
Concrete Sports are based in the North West, but have been supplying and installing permanent outdoor games tables all over the UK for the last 17 years+.
Their main products consist of concrete:
- Chess tables,
- Ping pong tables; and
- Football tables.
Providing a healthy activity and plenty of competition, the tables are great for all ages and have been installed anywhere from schools to care homes!
The Concrete Sport website even features a cool map section on their website where you can check out the location of previous installations.
The team provide their services to both trade and retail customers, so anyone can get themselves a brand-new games table. The Concrete Sports team aim to deliver and install the tables within 4 weeks of ordering.
How Concrete Sports use our Grass Mats
Concrete Sports regularly use our 22mm rubber grass mats when installing their tables on grass.
The two main benefits of grass matting in a sports setting are:
- Ground protection – as the area around the tables are likely to incur a high level of foot traffic, this would churn up the grass and damage the grass root structure if left untreated, resulting in bare patches of grass. Placing our 22mm rubber grass mats down ensures that the grass can continue to grow through the matting, whilst protecting the grass roots.
- Anti-slip surface – with these tables, it’s only natural that the competitive side of the participants comes out on show! With lots of running round the tables, putting in an anti-slip surface can provide a health & safety benefit by stopping slips and falls.
